About the Blockhouse Lake Association

The Blockhouse Lake Association was formed in the summer of 2001 as a non-profit, non-stock corporation under Ch. 181 of the Wisconsin Statutes.  The purpose of the association is to preserve and protect Blockhouse Lake and its surroundings, and to enhance the water quality, fishery, boating safety, and aesthetic values of Blockhouse Lake, as a public recreational facility for today and for future generations.  

Membership in the association is open to any individual, family, business or organization that subscribes to the purposes of the association and owns or leases property for at least one month per year within one mile of the lake.  Dues are $25.00 per calendar year.  To become a member, please click on the membership application form.  The Annual  Meeting is held each year on the first Saturday of Labor Day weekend.  Details of the organizational structure can be found in the bylaws.

       Officers of the association for 2005 are: 
                            President - Jim Williams (Term expires June, 2006)
                            Vice President - Mark Wagner (Term expires June, 2006)
                            Secretary - Audrey Short (Term expires June, 2005)
                            Treasurer - Corinne Fisher (Term expires June, 2005)
                            Director at large - Cliff Verrill (Term expires June, 2006)
                            Director at large - Gina Schuler (Term expires June, 2005)

The Blockhouse Lake Association is a member of the Wisconsin Association of Lakes and the Price County Waterways Association.
